At EveGuest, we value the privacy, security, and trust of our users. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of their data, how long the process takes, and what information is deleted or retained in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

1. User Rights to Data Deletion

Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data at any time. EveGuest processes all deletion requests in compliance with relevant privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and local laws. Users may request deletion of:

  • Personal profile information
  • Event details and history
  • Guest lists and contact data
  • Invitations, communication logs, and RSVP records
  • Uploaded files, images, or attachments

2. How to Request Data Deletion

Users may request data deletion using any of the following official channels:

  • In-App Request:Navigate to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account/Data and follow the prompts.
  • Email Request:Send an email from your registered address to:info@eveguest.comwith the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.

3. Processing Timeline

Once a valid request is received:

  • Immediate (0–48 hours):Your account will be disabled and flagged for deletion.
  • Primary Data Deletion (within 30 days):All associated data will be removed from active databases.
  • Backup Deletion (up to 90 days):Residual data in encrypted backups is purged automatically through scheduled cycles.

A confirmation notice will be sent once deletion is fully completed.

4. Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Account information (name, email, phone number)
  • All events created by the user
  • Guest lists and invitation records
  • RSVP history, communication logs, and analytics
  • Uploaded documents, media, and attachments

5. Data We May Retain

Some limited categories of data may be preserved for legal, regulatory, or security reasons:

  • Fraud prevention records
  • Financial or transactional data (if applicable)
  • Logs required to comply with legal retention policies

6. Third-Party Services

If your data interacted with third-party systems (email providers, cloud storage, analytics tools), EveGuest will request deletion from those partners as well. Timelines may vary depending on each provider’s policies.

7. Impact of Data Deletion

  • Your account cannot be restored after deletion
  • All events and guest-related data will be permanently removed
  • You will no longer receive EveGuest notifications or messages
  • You must create a new account to use EveGuest again

8. Policy Updates

EveGuest may update this Data Deletion Policy periodically to comply with new laws or improve transparency. Any updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
